Salamanca Place, a shopping and cultural precinct near Hobart's waterfront, is one of Tasmania's best known landmarks along with Cradle Mountain, Mount Wellington, Port Arthur, Freycinet, Strahan and MONA; The Museum of Old and New Art at Berriedale. With dozens of restaurants and shops, sheltered Salamanca Square, nightlife, pubs, artists, galleries and craft shops to suit every budget plus the famous Salamanca Market every week.
Salamanca Market was established in 1972 and is open from 8.30am - 3pm every Saturday.
Tasmanian-born Crown Princess Mary of Denmark enjoys shopping at Salamaca Place on her regular trips home to Hobart.

Margaret is a former nursing sister with more than 20 years experience as a beauty therapist. Her focus is on health and well-being. She offers all traditional beauty services with lots of extra care.
