Tasman Peninsula

Convicts, ghosts and Tassie devils help to create a peninsula of mystery and intrigue.  The rugged natural beauty is built around beaches, bays, cliffs, blowholes and forests.  Port Arthur Historic site is one of Tasmania's most visited attractions, and there are plenty of natural and man made attractions to visit on the way.  Go by boat, in a private car, specialised bus tour or big group tour. A mode of transport to suit your needs.

The peninsula has spectacular cliffs and rock formations, including Tasman's Arch, Devil's Kitchen and Remarkable Cave. There are great day walks along the coast and boat trips for fishing or scuba diving.

Farming and fishing are key industries. There is a chocolate factory and Tasmanian Devil Park at Tarrana.
